Biomass Energy Industry Promotion Association (BEIPA) was jointly established by China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development (CAPID) and its standing executive members in June 2018. BEIPA is a national, non-profit, industrial social and non-corporate organization voluntarily formed by industrial institutions. members involve the field of multiple waste -based power generation, agricultural and forest residues-based power generation, biomass cleaning heating supply, biomethane (biogas) production, biomass pyrolysis and gasification, liquid biofuel, and solid biofuel, providing services in investment, construction, operation, equipment manufacturing, research and development, academic studies, project design, financing, and consulting etc. At present, BEIPA has more than 100 members in nationwide, with 38% state-owned enterprises and 30 listed companies. 

BEIPA has made considerable achievements in recent years with the strong support and guidance from National Development and Reform Commission, China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development, member institutions and other relevant authorities. By implementing in depth, the arrangements made by CPC Central Committee, the Scientific Outlook on Development and upholding the service-oriented principle, BEIPA has contributed to the biomass energy industry with publicity and branding, global industrial exchanges, and improved membership service experience. We have established an expert database with nearly 300 research scholars, professional technicians, and enterprise managers, covering almost every field in biomass energy. BEIPA has now become one of the most influential, largest, and representative biomass energy organizations in China.

Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, BEIPA firmly maintains political integrity, thinks in big-picture terms, follows the leadership core and keeps in alignment. We have also enhanced the service consciousness to speak up for the industry and our members, and safeguard relevant rights and interests.    BEIPA also serves as a bridge between the government regulatory bodies and    biomass energy enterprises, and wholeheartedly contributes to the brighter outlook of China’s biomass energy industry and the overall socio-economic development.
